My Quaker Ollie has laid over a dozen eggs in the last three months. I don’t know how to prevent her from doing this I never pet her anywhere but on the head. I notice she was always ripping up the paper real little on the bottom of the cage so thought maybe she was using this as a nesting material so I took the paper out I don’t know if that will help or not.

It also helps if you reduce the hours of light Ollie gets, cover her early every evening and dim the lights near her cage. Also limit her diet to pellets, stop all mushy or fresh food, though with that many eggs you might need to offer some cooked egg shells That will hopefully help her body slow down. Perhaps no pets at all until she stops laying. Good luck. Hope it helps
