For some reason, when I have food, it makes Clyde mad. Yes, I offer him some. He's still mad. I had a tangerine yesterday and offered him a bite and he attacked it. Several times. However, in the attacking, he got some in his beak and ate it. Freddie's always interested in food but he wouldn't even taste the tangerine. He politely declined, though, he didn't attack. Rocky will only eat potatoes. He's an Irish 'too.

I expect that Ralph would have attacked the tangerine too, because it's that evil color orange. Like Freddie, neither Ralph nor Scooter would have eaten any; they think all citrus fruit is only good for tossing onto the floor. Ralph does like to tap his beak on fresh tomatoes, though it doesn't seem like he's attacking them. There must be a little Irish in Ralph and Scooter; they both like potatoes as Rocky does.

Cooked, raw, it doesn't matter, she eats them and makes a lip-smacking sound (her sound for when she is eating her favourite foods). She is a "Carbs" bird. Maybe ALL parrots have some Irish in them.  However, Bonnie also loves to eat raw pumpkin and carrot - so maybe they're not the evil shade of orange that a tangerine is (?). |

I don't think it was because it was orange. Clyde reacts the same way to any food I take into their room, as if the fact that I brought food in is a personal insult. Even when it's something he likes, such as popcorn.

Yoshi is also terrified of orange objects, and always has been. He also loves potatoes!
