so I got a new Qp for my daughters bday almost a year ago, hand fed baby, pretty rotten. So he has bonded with me and my daughter but doesn’t like mom or big sis, his wings were clipped when we got him but we have not clipped them since. He is not flighty at all. He will fly from cage to daughters bed and back and to my shoulder if I’m around. Was wondering if I took him outside would he stay put or fly off.

Welcome to the Forum. It's very possible that an unrestrained parrot taken outside would either fly away or be attacked by a predator. Some parrots have been trained to accept a harness for outdoor adventures. Many of us will only take a parrot outside in a portable cage.

I agree even a clipped parrot can get away outside. They can be easily spooked and the slightest breeze can give them lift

Don't do it. My conure was lost that way. He was clipped but was able to fly and was startled by a crow. I am heartbroken since we lost him.
