I chose a baby Quaker today. He won’t be able to come home for 5 more weeks. I held 3 different babies before him. They were restless and nervous. The one I purchased instantly snuggled in to me and fell asleep. I definitely had that bonding moment. Is this normal behavior for a baby bird ?

It's normal behavior for a baby parrot who is comfortable with the human they've chosen. Waiting 5 weeks to bring him home won't be easy, but it gives you plenty of time to get everything ready for him.

Thank you for your reply. It won’t be easy waiting; but I am going once a week for the next five weeks to spend bonding time with him before he can come home. Working on choosing a quality cage and toys for him while I am waiting for him to come home 😁.

I'm going to move this thread to "Quaker Parrot Talk". I think more people will see it, because I don't know if everyone looks at everything on the Forum. I have a feeling that some people only look at the sections specifically about Quakers. 😊
