Has anyone tried this?
My shower perch is a little too slippery, and my old man's grip is a little too loose.
In fact he's having difficulty getting comfortable I think, so I'm looking for ways to ease his foot pain without medication (until it gets to that point).
Or is there something else you've tried in the past that's worked?

The vet wrap sounds like an idea. I’ve seen it for sale at pet valu. You could wrap a washcloth around it so it would be thicker as long as he didn’t chew on the fabric. Maybe tie it on with string That way you could wash it so it wouldn’t get mouldy Casey just stands on our shower door and doesn’t have a shower stand

The vet wrap should work for you. I've used it to patch some fabric perches that my CAG Scooter has chewed on, and she can perch on the patched areas with no problems (and she doesn't chew on the vet wrap, which is a plus).
