Hi everyone,
I am coming to your forum with a wild adult quaker parrot named Montblanc. Montblanc has a double leg fracture and is currently recovering. The fracture is not looking good (and he also keeps tearing at his plaster). In a couple of weeks there will be another radio and we'll see if he can use his leg again. We are really hoping he can be returned to the wild. However, we have to be prepared that it may not be possible. In the meantime, Montblanc is in my very unexpert care! I will go and post some newbie questions on the forum now!
Thank you!

Welcome to you and Montblanc. It's good that you're helping him recover from his injury. Hope that he will regain the use of his leg.

Hi, and welcome to you and MontBlanc (cool name, by the way!). Could you put a little Elizabethan collar/bucket around his/her neck to stop the interference with the plaster? Just wondering. Cheers & hope you enjoy the Forum!
