Chico is around 2, been with me since 3 months, very tame, gives kisses, talks a little, wold whistles and whistles tunes (but never when your in the room !), preferred location is on the shoulder, likes a drive in the car, semi professional escapologist (has resulted in extra locks on cages), kleptomaniac (shiny things migrate to her cage by magic) and coin throwing (any pocket change left out must be systematically dropped on the floor)
Current food obsession is branflakes - will appear from no where is she hears the rattle of a cereal packet, previous food fads were toast (attempted to grab toast from your hand as you ate it and fly it to the cage on more than one occasion) and pot noodle (learnt to rip through the tops of these if left out and help her self).
Stubbornly refuses all attempts to switch from mixed seeds to pellets (various brands tried, all end on the floor), so diet remains a small parrot seed mix with daily apple, banana and cherry tomato plus any other fruit in the house that day.
Shes green, smallish (87g last vet check), one negative is a cheek scratching which we've been working on with the vet for a while now.

Hi and welcome to you and Chico, Casey is a lightweight too, she weighs in at 91 grams tonight. Sounds like Chico is quite the character with a fun personality .

Welcome to you and Chico! My own heritage includes some Welsh blood. Still have distant relatives in Wales and England.

G'day Harry & Chico, from Australia. Hope you settle in OK. It sounds like Chico could do with some etiquette lessons, like my Bonnie!
