Izzie has been a little minx for a while now due to me not being able to work her. She wont let anyone catch her and has real attitude. So I started working her last weekend and she was pretty good. Could walk up to her today and put her halter on without her galloping off. Instead of working her, I took her for a grazing walk and then just spent time getting to know her again. It was absolutely wonderful - we really connected. I have a Tellington Touch trainer coming to work with her and I in January and am really looking forward to it. She is such a special pony - I cant imagine my life without her.

Had a wonderful time with Izzie today. We did lots of groundwork and she did really well. She is such a delightful animal. The caretaker told me that no-one can catch her but I walk right up to her and put her halter on. Admittedly, she does get a bit of carrot as a reward. We also practiced walking beside each other and stopping without using the lead rope. She is such a clever girl.
