I would like to ask somebody to help me pls?I m going away for 4 days and i m thinking of leaving my Ruby behind bec i can t take him with me.is it safe to live him alone ,as usall i m always talking with him and play ,and he will find himself alone .pls can somebody tell me pls cause i m tired thinking what to do?

I don't think it would be a good idea to leave a parrot alone for as long as 4 days. It would be much better if you could find someone you trust to be with Ruby at least a few hours each day, or find a place to board Ruby while you'll be away.

Hi and welcome! A lot of vet offices offer boarding too. We just returned from an overnight trip this past weekend. My parrot has free roam and goes to his cage to play and to sleep. In hindsight, I got lucky leaving him for 36 hrs..boy was he happy to see us walk thru the door. His water dishes were filthy after just this short of time and it didn't appear that he ate well either...won't be doing that again.
