Hi everyone! I was the proud owner of a Quaker (Yoshie) for about 6 years and unfortunately he died 2 years ago. He talkeld a lot and hated my husband!!! I missed him so much! My husband, who like pets but seems to be hated by birds 😳😉, wanted to make me happy... There was that Quaker at our pet store ( wich we became friends with the owners) who was handicaped. We saw him 1 to 2 times a week and everyone was astonished at how that bird let me kiss him and pet him... So, has you probably guest, my husband decided that we bring him home since its been almost a year and he was not sold yet (he bites customers! dah!). So we now have Mango for almost two weeks now and its going pretty well! I talk about is handicap wich is with his toes. There croocked and misses some claws... We just have to be careful and make sure he’s holding on correctly on our fingers or on its perch before moving or letting him go! I’m loocking for some advices and I’m very happy to have found this forum!

Hey, welcome to the Forum, Sandec and Mango! It sounds like you and your little one were meant to be with each other. Good on your husband for encouraging this (even though he'll probably be sorry later, haha). Hope you enjoy the Forum and I look forward to hearing about your adventures with Mango!
