Hi I am a new Quaker owner and loving him so much. After losing my lovebirds and cats in a house fir a few months ago, a neighbor gave me Paulie, the Quaker parrot. He is quickly learning so many words. His favorite is Peekaboo and Good Morning. He says Paulie want a cracker, Paulie good boy, Love you Dottie (Dottie is the cat another neighbor gave us). We are blessed to have our new fur and feather babies. I put on sing a longs and folk songs in the morning and Paulie dances and sings. Looking forward to reading about quakers and how to give him a great life.

Thank you. I don’t know how old he is. A couple years? Sad, I don’t have any history on him.

Hello Diana... and welcome Paulie too. You may want to start by reading some of the sections in this forum and it will give you an idea of what to expect with your new Quaker. Sometimes I think my Oscar is a dog... sometimes a cat when he purrs... but he is a Quaker and full of energy. Oscar has a lot to say as well but he prefers to do it when we aren't looking... lol... little shy I guess.
I hope you enjoy the forum... I know I do.
