Hi, when we got our wee Quaker he had his flight feathers cut. Do these feathers molt out and re grow? He also is molting around the neck for a long time now. Is this normal? Many Thanks

Feathers molt out. As for the other question, as long as you don't see bald spots it's pretty normal for birds to have slow molt. Mine seems like it's perpetually molting.... lol

Yes the clipped feathers will also moult out. Ricky is correct that the molt is slow. When they loose their tails or wing feathers they will usually loose 2 at a time.. one from each side and this keeps the bird balanced. It might not happen the same day but it will within a few days at the most.
I am constantly picking up feathers however during a molt... there are at least 20 fluffies to pick up each day.... the ones that fly away when you try to get them... lol
