Is it safe to give a Quaker small twigs (without leaves) English Oak (Quercus robur) to chew on.

The bark and leaves (and the acorns) of most oak species contain tannins that are potentially toxic to parrots. It would probably be rather difficult to remove all the bark from small twigs, so it might be better to choose another type of wood.

Trees that bear fruit are your best choice.
