I joined awhile ago but haven't posted. We adopted Chico last January. We just celebrated our first year with him. He is about 5.5 yrs old. We then adopted Piccolo a Quaker and Sunshine a Conure. Piccolo was under one year and Sunshine is 16. Piccolo got out of the house and flew away in Oct. and we have not located him. At the same time someone found a Quaker we thought was Piccolo. After we brought him home we knew he wasn't our Piccolo. We kept "Kalik" after putting out several ads for a found Quaker. Then we found little Kiwi at a Parrot store in our area. Someone found some baby parakeets. I adopted her. We adopted our Goffins Cockatoo from Exotic Bird Rescue. She is 27 years old and loves my husband and totally bonded to him right from the start. Chico is my bird. Sunny isn't tame and we are working on Kalik and Kiwi.
