I have heard dandelion is good for birds. I don't have my QP yet, but just feeling curious, would this granulated roasted dandelion root product be an appropriate thing to offer? Say, a few granules here and there mixed with other food. Ingredients: Soluble Solids Of Dandelion Root, Detrose And Glucose. Description: The health properties of dandelion have been known for centuries. Symington's Dandelion Herbal Tea is derived from a lengthy boiling process of roasted dandelion root. This ensures full extraction of all the valuable trace minerals and vitamins which are formed into an instant granule for your convenience. Symington's is a pleasant caffeine free alternative to tea and coffee. Enjoy the taste and health benefits of Symington's with no flavourings or preservatives. - No Caffeine - Lactose Free - Gluten free

I'm not sure about that product. I know that cultivated dandelion greens (not the ones from the front lawn ) are nutritious and good for parrots (if they'll eat them).

The thing I would be concerned about are the other two ingredients - "...ose" means sugar, and you can't tell the amount. Some people do share brewed, watery herbal teas with their parrots, chamomile in particular, in small amounts.
