Hi everyone my names Lauren and I am looking for a forever home for Alan my quaker parrot. He has been with us about 6 years, I say him I am not sure of the sex.
I would like to rehome Alan as he just doesn't seem very happy 😔 and I think he may want to be with fellow birds. I was going to build an avairy but I really do not want to take more animals on especially birds as I have little knowledge of them.
Alan free flys around the house in the day and is caged at night. He needs to go to a home with freedom as he will go crazy sat in his cage so an aviary or somewhere he can be out and get lots of love is a must.
Although he has the freedom he doesn't get the attention he wants. I have a 2 year old and 3 dogs and work full time and spend most of my time cleaning up his poop hence I feel it would be better for him to go to a knowledge loving home where he can get all the loves and kisses he needs.
Alan has been camping with us a few times to Newquay in the caravan he loves to have a fly outside when it's calm, he's not scared of dogs he just wants to be with you and snuggle in your neck.
Alan has never had a good coat since we bought him. He has been swabbed and had an infection which was treated but they said that wouldn't of effected his feathers. He has supplements for his feathers but there hasn't been much improvement. I'm not sure if being in a more natural surrounding with more birds would cheer him up.
Alan is free to a good home and has a cage too.
He is located in Retford Nottinghamshire. Please call Adrian 07455941507 for more info.
Many thanks Lauren x

Hi Lauren, I wish I could take Alan, but I'm in Australia...just want to offer my good wishes and I believe someone will see your post and there will be a good outcome.

Alan sounds like a sweetheart. I had a cuddler and loved him to pieces, but I had a lot of time for him. I'm in Texas, and hope you're able to find him a good home.

We live in Ohio in the US. If you could, we could take Alan. We have 3 other Quakers and would give Alan the attention and love you desire for him. So, please give us a look. Thank You.
