Mia

My beautiful kitten Mia was put to sleep just over a week ago. She had toxoplasmosis which was responding but they discovered she had all the signs of FIP and started showing the neurological signs on the day she went to the vet. My heart is broken - I miss her so much and still cry when I think about her or when someone mentions her name.  Her grave is in the backyard and I still sit in the bedroom in the afternoon where she liked to lay in the afternoon sun.  She struggled so hard for 5 weeks.  She was only 10 months old.  I feel very blessed that she came into my life when she was 4-5 weeks old.  It took her nearly 2 months to settle in and she wasn't very affectionate but eventually came around to hanging out with me and sitting on my lap.  She put up with the kisses I bestowed on her.  RIP in my beautiful one.  You were such a special little baby - I will never forget you.
