My quaker is 23 years old. My avian vet says he is the oldest she has seen and she has seen lots. How old is your little green chicken?

Bonnie will turn 4 in November/December, so a long way to go yet! If you do a keyword search on this forum you'll find a few threads about how old people's quakers are/were. Have fun! And...hope Rambo (is that your quaker's name?) lives many more years!

Happy hatchday, Casey! I hope your Mom treated you extra special. I'm pretty sure every day is treated as special where you're concerned.

Buddy is 10 months old. Really a funny lil guy and to watch and listen to the progress he has made has been very uplifting to me. Just to think tho, that this spring,I guess he will go into a hormonal swing? Well he has already picked out his mate, laura my girlfriend ! Yep I'm second sweet potato when she's around and he will nudge me away or nip and growl at me. It's funny tho...

Niki is 22 1/2. It's hard to believe I've had him that long!
I have seen a 28 year old Quaker at his vet's office. That Quaker didn't look any different than younger ones except he seemed a little quiet.

My Quaker is 30 years old. Other than his beak over growing and occasionally having to trim his feet, he’s still doing great and talks some, but not as much as he did when he was younger. I’ve had him since he was 5 days old.
