So I've just taken on the most beautiful pallid blue baby and I am in need of a name. He is not DNA sexed yet but I feel he is male! So anything male or gender neutral names would be welcomed. I'm all for unusual names. I'm not keen on common or people names but I am stumped and nothing is calling out to me!

Congratulations, and welcome to the forum! Here's my stab at it. I'm retired navy and blue always makes me think of ocean. Take the French word for sea, la mer, and make it masculine with le. Le Mer. It might make a Frenchman's head explode, but if he turns out to be she, it would be easy to change to feminine.

Or how about "Pablo"? As in...pallid/blue/baby/o. I'm sure you'll think of something, just look up baby names!

Pal? (as in short for pallid) Buddy (synonym for pal) Gulliver (if he turns out to be a girl, GALliver, LOL)
And if you choose a boy type name and he turns out to be a girl, don't worry about it. I know of female parrots named Larry and Harry and my own female starling is Ringo. Ringo flatly refused to accept a gender-neutral name so, with a 50/50 chance, I chose wrong and she's perfectly okay with that.

If I could rename my Quaker I would probably call him "chicken" or "fatty"... lol lol... because that is what he is. Honestly though... I would rename him Kiki. I think it is a cute name.
