. She briefly discusses how to extinguish screaming and how to reinforce talking when your parrot seems to do it only when you're not in the room. I thought it might be useful to some of you.
If you're completely new to training, be careful how you interpret the term "negative punishment". It just means that rather than reinforcing by giving your parrot something he wants, you're momentarily taking something away.
