I've been working on teaching Ollie peak-a-boo for the past month and have no luck however today I went to his cage with a red pen, blue pen, and green paper & told him all the colours asking him what was what. He pointed to each one even after I switched them. Then he went to his food dish because he got bored😂

Sort of. Yoshi likes to practice his talking while I'm asleep. He seems to not want to say new things in my presence unless he thinks he's perfected them.
Just today, I woke up and heard him saying "You want to go on a grand adventure?". Which is what I ask him before we go places - to the post office, or to parents house, etc. He's never said that phrase before in my presence, but kept repeating it today when he didn't realize I had woken up (tho he has said "adventure" before). He said it very well, too!

Seriously? What did you say to him? I bring up a cloth and go "Peak-a-boo" and lower it infront of my face about 3 times then I put it infront of him. After I go "Good boy!!!!" With the colours I just went "This is blue, this is red, this is green" then I switched them up and said "Which is blue" then he'd nod to it or walk over and I'd say "Good boy!!!" & I gave him a cheerio.

Wow, that's amazing! So I guess he got enough correct for you to know that it wasn't coincidence. Little smarty pants.

Now.... if I would try that Oscar would run and hide as he hates red. That is good your QP at least acknowledged it.
