The routine is I bring her fresh water and give her a couple bits of dried fruit first thing in the morning. Then I stand there and chat for a while. She has started doing simple whistles (the only kind I can respond with), and then lifts one foot or the other and flaps her wings. I think it amuses her to watch my version.

Like you, I've discovered that Greys can be just as good as Quakers at training their human slaves. Allie is certainly doing fine with your trick training.
