Well the kitties went to their new foster carer today and I must admit, had a bit of a cry when handing them over. The house is so quiet without them. But I have a new little munchkin - have called her Mia and she is a black and white 4 week old kitty. She is a bit nervous and is still trying to settle in - but she knows which room is hers. Hopefully she will like us. Emma seems interested in her which is good - I guess she is much quieter than the other 2 rampaging wild cats

I'll never forget the time my sister decided that two pugs were better than one. I think that is true, but she also decided to get two pug puppies from the same litter. Wow! Little terrors, they were. It was probably healthy for them, though.

Congratulations Jan and welcome to Mia. I think I would be too upset to foster animals (I mean I wouldn't like handing them over). I suppose that is where the situation of having another one straight away might help to take your mind off it(?).

It has been an interesting time with Mia. She vomited last night and had diarrhea. I put her in the crate to sleep and woke up during the night to find her sleeping at the end of the bed. She has been slowly improving today - this afternoon she has been driving me crazy for food and has spent most of the day asleep. She has also been using the litter tray. She is massively underweight. It will be a slow road to get her up to what she should be but we will get there in the end. The other 2 kitties have settled in really well, have taken over the house and are also sleeping on the bed

I suppose it is a comfort to know your two little speed demons adapt more easily than we humans do. I hope your new girl was just a little upset by the change and that she's all better today.

She is doing much better today Easttex. Woke me at 3.15am for a snack. There have been no further accidents so all is well with the litter tray. She is not very affectionate but will hang around me if I am doing things.
