So just out of curiosity I was wondering if I can give mushu fresh apple juice and fresh orange juice etc. Not too much but just a little here and there. As he's always after my juice (not cordial). Thought I would ask
Thanks! Jade and mushu

A little every now and then is okay. I'd water it down some to cut the calories. Quakers have a tendency to fatty liver disease, so its best to limit high fat/high calorie foods. If you drink caffeine free herbal tea, he might like that, too. Some others here will probably weigh in on this topic.

Unsweetened apple juice is okay but as easttex said... in small quantities. My Quaker does not like citrus fruit like oranges but offer a little a see if yours likes it.
My Quaker likes to sip right out of my glass but it can be messy so be careful. It is cute to see their little tongues come out to lick.

As the others have said, a little won't hurt but it's best to use unsweetened if you can. Bonnie used to try and sip from my wine glass when she was a baby , but thankfully she grew out of it.

I'm all too familiar with the birds trying to drink or of my glass ordeal. This is my life now:

That's great, Zim, it's a wonder you get any of it yourself.
