This is Bailey. The female husky that I now walk for about 1.5 hours per morning. She isn't too big but OMG is she ever strong. She is learning slowly but surely to stop pulling me and to "come" when I call and "wait" at the street corners. You can see how warm I am dressed. Double layered pants, heavy boots, three layers on top with the fur coat. It was minus 20C this morning when we took this picture.
Love the dog.

She's beautiful! I wonder how their toe-pads don't ice up/freeze. It's pretty amazing when you think about it.

These dogs just love the winter. They have 2 coats of hair so summer is very tough on them. Bailey just loves to run and jump into the deepest snow pile she can find and bury her whole head in it. So cute to watch. Watching her do her "nose dive" lately has been a little hard on her because we had some ice rain and there is a thick coat of ice under the first inch of snow. Poor Bailey... I don't know how many times she has tried but got a punch back in the face.

Lol my golden used to do nose dives! Bailey looks like a nice dog, and really enjoys getting out with you I bet! Raining here tonight. Wish it hadn't melted all the snow we had.
