Ducky is doing great

I have been away again, due to health woes.  I was on FMLA for a while, finally got back to work and then broke my foot.  But Ducky is doing just great. He's learning a few new words, started calling for "Aunt Mare", our 88 year old Aunt that lives with us and is home all day with her caregivers.  He has made friends with the new puppy, now almost 6 months old. I don't allow them out together because she is just too rambunctious and hasn't learned to be gentle enough or trust worthy enough to allow Ducky out as much as we would like.  But they "kiss" through the cage bars and she stands close to it to let him preen her.  She's about 50 pounds now and still growing (Akita).  Ducky just loves her and I think he has been trying to say her name, Betty, but it's not clear. He still laughs when we do, freaks out a little when "strangers" are in the house, and he still likes to bite Bill - who gives him just the right reactions for it to continue. 


I'm trying to catch up some on the board and read what has been posted while I was away.
