I usually get the parrots a few edible treats for hatchdays and Christmas rather than toys. Scooter is fearful of almost anything new or different, and Ralph prefers to play with things that aren't supposed to be parrot toys (like spoons). Ralph and Scooter both got new toys as gifts from a friend and from Scooter's former owner-- and so far, they don't want anything to do with their new toys. I've left them where the birds can see them and get used to them and maybe eventually I can hang them in the cages.

Well, that figures, Gary...they wouldn't want to be predictable, would they?

The playground is great!! You might want to line to bottom with newspaper as it will certainly make for an easier clean up.
Oscar got a few horsey back rides from me all around the house and he got a tic tac. (those are the small peppermints for fresh breath... lol) He also got another two drops of ginger ale. Boy he loves that stuff but I am very careful not to allow too much.
He pretty much runs this house and gets whatever he wants whenever he wants... so nothing new there... lol.
It was a good Christmas.

Nice playground! I made some new toys for Casey before Christmas she has already partially destroyed... there will be a trip to parrotdise perch in the near future. Other than that she got turkey, potatoes and veggies for her dinner and that worked for her! The potatoes are always first done!
