The little green monster is 12 years old today. He loved me singing happy birthday and for he's a jolly good fellow. I look forward to being his slave for the next 12 years.

awwww... happy birthday Shah.... You are such a lucky little guy and probably don't even know it. I hope Jan... that you get another wonderful 12 years with Shah. I can't stop forgetting how he got out of the house... and you went out there... and found him. That is a great memory for you as well... I am sure.

Juliana, I have to tell you that when he first escaped I was running up and down the street in a short nightie and no undies calling out his name. I am not a thin person. It must have horrified the neighbours and I would hate to think what it did to passing motorists. Fortunately no cars collided with each other or trees  |

That is too funny Jan... I can just picture you... ha ha ha.... I know when my love birds got away.. I was running everywhere carrying this huge cage and calling them. Unlike you I could always see them and they could see me but they were not ready to come back any time soon. I am sure the neighbours thought I was crazy.

So late to this party, the guests have all gone home. But since I just got back, I thought I would offer belated well wishes to Shah. He's pretty much treated like it's his hatchday every day, right?
