Ahhh. Ok, so i have been visiting this group of baby quakers waiting for one of them to choose me and i have now been chosen. She is the youngest from her clutch, she already looks at me very intently and i think its because she is trying to learn how to talk, she is comfortable with me and she got on my back and my shoulder and my chest and she even gave me a kiss. I have only known her for a matter of days and i am already madly in love...she is all i can talk about! And in just a few weeks she will be weaned and ready to go home with me. her name is Ariel and i really think it suits her. Ahhh.

Well that is wonderful quakeradventurer... Your home will never be the same. Don't worry about the non-stop talking... I still do it and I have had mine for 6 years now. They are so different that other birds and more like a dog. Follow you around... want to eat your food... give you kisses ... wants to be petted (at times). Your little Ariel will let you know soon enough her likes and dislikes.

Oh I am definitely counting every second of every day until i can bring her home, but at least i get to see her twice a week until then. It is still hard though because now i have to wait a full 2 days until i get to see my baby again...   |
