Re the poop colour - we also find that Bonnie's poop changes colour briefly depending on what she's eaten immediately prior. I about had a heart attack shortly after the first time I fed yoshi strawberries.

Yeah I've noticed my budgies have rainbow poop depend on what I give them, Ollie's just gets watery but one time the budgies had reddish orange poop and then I realized it was the pellets I gave them.
Ollie's near a digital clock and I give him his medicine at 10:30, I was reading and he must've seen the time because he screamed my name and was ready to take them, he didn't cower away he just tilted his head up and opened his mouth. He's been talking today and was quaking yesturday which is a good sign.

Very glad to hear Ollie is doing better!
It could be that he just knows that it's medicine time, after being in that routine for a few days. These birds seem to have an amazing sense of time.

I actually got the medicine out for his nightly dose and he ran up to me and was really excited, I guess he likes the taste too. I hope he'll be okay tomorrow though because he only gets the antibiotics and no painkillers.

What a good bird! When I was giving Peppy multiple doses of five medicines, he did not run toward me with joy. But he was really good about it, once he knew the routine. They're full of surprises.

Thanks for the definition of a beanie. We call those toques (pronounced tooook).... lol.... I am lucky that I have not had to give Oscar meds yet but I still give him the apple cider vinegar in his water about every second day. Sound like the meds from the vet must be delicious tasting for Ollie. That is good news.
Hoping everything will settle down for you soon.

Good news, it isn't a tumour but it's fatty tissue so I need to covert him to a low fat and sugar diet, he's not that old and it's from his previous owners so the vet thinks it'll probably go down. His droppings have always had different coloured urine in the morning and when we first got him at the shelter he had a lot of those droppings but the shelter vet assured us he was ok and the droppings were just because he drank a lot of water. And now it only happens some days in the morning or night. Also the shelter by siad his beak was very long before trimming it but now his beak hasn't grown past a good point and it's been months. I'm thinking about getting him milk thistle, would that be a good idea?

I gave milk thistle to Peppy, though it was too late to cure his liver. I would get it from a vet, also. It seems like everyone, including vets, compounds it a little differently, and you do want to get the dose right. It didn't cost a lot, as I recall.

I'm going in to see the vet in 2 weeks, she wants to see him after he starts his diet.
