...and Fizz is a boy! I had him DNA sexed and the results came back today. This actually means that every parrot I've owned aside from when I used to keep budgies has been male. I guess that makes me lucky in terms of never having to deal with egg laying!

Congratulations! That is one less thing to be worried about for sure. Even if it doesn't really matter to you, it's good to know the sex for health reasons.

Congratulations, it's a boy! It's also a pain in the backside trying to rewrite your brain to accept your bird is a totally different gender! We had that with Maya, who we originally thought was a boy (and named Byron), but we wouldn't change our little ball of feathers for the world

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm glad he was a boy and I didn't have to start trying to call him 'she'. Had to do that in reverse with my sun conure and it was a pain!
