Sorry to hear about Gaston. I remember mentions of him in some of your posts, and it seems to me you posted a photo of him too. I'm sure he will be missed. Here is Gaston, he would have been 11 on October 30

Sorry to hear about your boy Gaston passing. Sounds like he was very loved and you gave him a wonderful life. What a handsome fella he was!

That's a beautiful collage, Caseysmom, or should I say, Gastonsmom. A lot of personality in those photos.

Awwww... loosing a pet is so very hard. It is something we never forget. Gaston was beautiful. I still remember when my dogs and cats died.. and I cried and cried for days. Especially when I would loose a dog.
Take care Caseysmom... May time heal a little of your wound.

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear about Gaston. I remember having a conversation about your Cotons on the first forum. :-)
Losing a fid is so difficult. :-(

Thanks guys, it has been a very difficult time. Gaston was definitely one of a kind. I keep thinking he should be here. Daniel is getting lots of extra cuddles

I like this sentiment from a French author, though I might quibble over the jealousy part:
Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring – it was peace.
