Neptune is a young QP, almost four months old, and starting yesterday I noticed his little nose holes were very visible. Upon further inspection, I found that the feathers around the area were wet and not poofy enough to cover the holes, as usual. I assumed he might have gotten himself wet in his water bowl, but this morning it was the same thing! And now he's sneezing every few minutes.
There is no color to the discharge around his nostrils, his behavior hasn't changed, and he's eating well. I can't seem to find a whole lot of information about the subject online.
I don't know if he's sick or perhaps reacting to something in the air that's irritated him. Has anyone seen something like this?

It could be just a mild seasonal type allergy, but it could also be the beginning of a respiratory infection. I wouldn't take any chances with it and would bring Neptune in for an evaluation. If it turns out to be nothing, you'll be that much wiser.

Exactly... take him in for an evaluation. Not only will you be that much wiser... but that much more confident as well. If it is something bad... and your little one got sicker... you may have a difficult time forgiving yourself. Safe that sorry.

Agree with the above - straight to the vet. It may well be nothing, but it's amazing how 'nothing' can become serious quite quickly with birds. Having him checked over will serve to reassure you. Maya's been sneezy before, the vet has given her some mild medicines, tested her for all the horrible, serious illnesses, flushed out her nasal passages and now she's fine. However, I don't regret taking her because it COULD have been something worse.
