Let us know how it's going when you have a chance. It's an exhaustive transition for all of you. When you get a rest, we'd love to hear about it.

Hi guys, sorry it has taken me so long to come back to everyone. Well the move was horrendous and Shah was well behaved for the first hour in the car and then screamed and complained for the rest of the time. He has been screaming ever since - it may be because he is back in his old cage but I took out the happy hutch. I take him out during the day and pop him on my shoulder while I continue to unpack (which will take weeks to do). The cockatiels aren't happy as they are in a smaller cage until I can get the time to purchase a bigger one for them. Their room is still a mess as I haven't had time to sort it out as I cant find all their stuff. But I am sure it will all work out.

Hi Jan! I hope the house got sorted out in time. Shah will be fine - we know all these quakers are drama queens! I'm sure the cockatiels will be fine too, as they're a very adaptable kind of bird.

Ditto what bitebird says... Think of all the wonderful time you will have in the house once settled in. Don't fret over the little ones... they are going to be extremely happy soon enough.
