Yoshi is 10 months old now, and by what I've read up on molting, I expected him to have at least started one by now.
He is already showing signs of what I think is maturity / hormones. He will get on my shoulder and make a purring type noise while nibbling on my ear and preening my hair, then will snuggle really close to my neck, and try to lift his leg up against the side of my head.
I've been immediately making him step up, and putting him on his cage near his stuffed snowman, hoping he will catch on to take out his hormones on that instead of me.
But I really expected a molt before this stuff started!

Hi Zim! Maya is a year old, also hormonal, but has not molted since we brought her home in November. Generally, I think, birds shed their feathers once a year. Some shed all year round, some seem to do it over a couple of months. Others who've had their birds longer may contradict me, and they will know best, but I think a molt should take place roughly a year from when the last one took place, as in all feathers should be replaced once every full seasonal cycle. If birds fledge when they are ten-twelve weeks old, they should have their first adult molt at roughly fourteen months. I have no idea if this is how it works for every bird, I expect not as all birds are different just like people, but if it reassures you, Maya hasn't molted yet either Edit: by 'she has not molted since we brought her home' I actually mean, she has not molted AT ALL the whole time I have known her.

I wouldn't be worried about Yoshi's molt. There's no hard and fast age when the first one starts. There's a seasonal component, too. Most molting happens in spring and fall, so maybe Yoshi wasn't ready for the spring. I'd expect to see some activity in the fall. And every feather doesn't necessarily molt every year.

Oscar has just started another molt and it is summer here. He won't loose all his feathers but he will loose quite a few. Especially the longer ones. He handed me one of his tail feathers the other day... because he swears it is not his... lol.
I did notice that he was loosing a lot more fluff on a daily basis than usual... and then the other feathers started to come out.
Many Quakers (like easttex mentioned) molt at different times and some will molt twice a year.
So not to worry... all is well.
