My wife and I our having a baby and can not give our loved bird the attention he needs. He has a cage which is probably good for another couple of years, a play stand which is a little beat up but he loves, and a bunch of toys. We have really worked on making him social. He loves kisses and making water sounds. He is around five years old, we don't know his sex (he has not laid any eggs), and we are located in the South Florida (Pompano Beach) area. If you are interested send me a message or comment.
I wish I could help, but I'm in Australia. I'm sure some of the US forum members will soon see this post and either help or pass on your information to the right kind of people (if they can). Good luck to you and Hal.
One of our members here fosters for them, and they sound like a good organization. I don't know what your timeline is, but you may want to go ahead and get him listed even before you give up on finding a home for him. They don't have a central location, and rely on having available fosterers.
