Okay, so Chico is faddy, she'll love a certain game, toy or treat for a few weeks, then nope, never touches that one again. Blocks of seeds and nuts, shes generally ignored for the last couple of years. But, she adored the last one. ripped it to pieces, made a perch for herself from the stick. Same with the second on in the pack. So - wow must get some more of these except.... didn't keep the packaging, and no idea which brand / version they were. Have googled, and cant see any that have the bar fixing that these do, but most pictures / adverts show seed sticks in the pack, so only been able to eliminate limited options. I have a photo of the bar stick , post her fun can anyone ID the brand from the stick ? Red clip is quite distinctive thanks in advance Harry

So update - found website, no idea which Smackers stick I had bought before so purchased a dozen different types.
2 days later despite there being other seed sticks (5 different types, shapes and sizes ) in her cage for the last month that get the odd peck and nibble but generally go untouched, she's gone a good third into the smackers.
As the common ones are all variations on a theme - some different ingredients but a similar principle if this brand uses something special as the bonding agent that keeps her interest. maybe its "just right" not too hard to pick a seed from, not so soft its a tickle of a challenge ?
Really is a stark difference between her attitude to this and other brands - and its not hunger for the contents, much as she has eaten them, as much is chucked tossed and dropped as she enjoys destroying something. Chico can be a bit of a plucker - badly damaged her self when we were separated for 6 months - so keeping her interested in cage time is critical for me for her welfare.

Neat that she likes them so much! It is important to keep them stimulated and happy. Casey like to break apart wood toys. And I have a foraging toy that keeps her busy.. I need something like it over here for my finches. I have yet to find ones they love. The millet keeps them happy though.
