Carolyn... unless they are separated... the will not stop breeding. Sorry to say... but it is the way most birds are. Separating them can cause a lot of anxiety for the poor little guys... so be sure if you do... that they are close to one another but in separate cages. They need to see one another and talk to one another.
You cannot have them spade like a dog or cat. It is not possible with Quakers.

Welcome! As julianna said, there really is no way to prevent the two Quakers from breeding as long as they're together.

Hi Carolyn; welcome to the Forum. The others are right. Unless you physically separate them you can not prevent unwanted breeding. Perhaps you can give us some more detailed information about your birds and their/your needs?
