Rocky's picture is featured on page 31 of a newly released book called "The Art of the Flockcall: Creating your successful companion parrot lifestyle" by my friend Kathy LaFollett, who runs the website and Facebook page, Flockcall. Kathy is a huge advocate of "companion parrot lifestyle" rather than "pet ownership" or "training" a parrot and she saved our sanity many times the first few months after Rocky moved in. Indeed, I would give her credit for Rocky still being with us and for how far he's come from the scared, abused and skinny 'too he was the day he moved in. She knows her stuff. I write for the website at her invitation and I also help her with some editing of other people's submissions.
