Hello! I'm new to the world of Quaker Parrots... New to birds really. I just recently adopted Baby Jake from a friend who is suffering from health issues that prevent her from keeping him. I have to admit even when he was not happy with me, I fell in love with Baby Jake. Now we have finaly have trust and starting to really get a family feel. But I'm here to step up ASA a parent and really take care of him.

Hi  I am new to birds and Quakers too, Norman and I have only been together for four weeks but they are such great birds and so fun to have around! We are still getting to know each other and settling into a nice routine but I just think the world of him already! This forum is great for beginners, everyone has been so lovely to me, answer my questions and queries, even if they are kind of 'silly' questions. I have you and Jake are having a lovely weekend! |

Welcome to you and Jake. I'm relatively new here too. I got Skye in January this year and then went back and got Loki in March! They are amazing little birds You've come to the right place for advice! Everyone here is wonderful |

Hi and welcome to both of you! You have a great attitude about being a good companion to Jake. That will go a long way as you confront the large and small issues that always come up. Feel free to bring any of your questions or concerns here (and photos!) no matter how small. We all started somewhere. Or come just to brag about what a genius Jake is. |
