Seizures

Jack has seizures with certain foods. Bananas, celery for instance. He will fly off his cage and the his right claw clinches. His little heart races. It lasts for a couple minutes. I was surprised it happened with banana. Any advise?

My advice is take him to an avian vet, without delay. You need to find out if it's coincidence or if there's some common property to what you've observed will trigger a seizure, and if there is an underlying health issue that can be treated. I wouldn't put it off. Good luck. I hope it's nothing too serious.

A vet visit is in order. It may be something as simple as a food sensitivity, or there may be some underlying illness that needs to be treated.
