It is with a heavy heart that I ask members in Texas near me to please foster or re-home dear Pauly and Sweetie. I have been thrust into a situation with my elderly abusive mother
who is forcing me out of my current home with her. The only result with my current finances is that I will be able to rent a room for myself with a roomie that cannot tolerate any kind of pet dander. If fostering I will provide food and will visit until I can get a pet friendly place to live. Please email right away to help 2 birds in need.

There are a lot of rescue organizations in the Houston area. I don't know what the requirements are for accepting birds, but if you're in a hurry, that's where I would start. This link lists more than just Houston, but most of them show addresses, so you can narrow it down easily. bird.rescueshelter.com/Texas

I would start with the National Parrot Rescue and Preservation Foundation. I wish you luck. They deserve to live in a good situation.
