Took Shah for his 3 monthly vet visit this morning. It was a pleasure to have him in the car as he talked to me for most of the trip. (Pippin has been going to the vet for the last 3 Saturdays and he screams from the moment I put him in the travelling cage until I get him home - it is non stop). The vet took a dropping and put it under the microscope - he said it was the best he has ever seen from Shah. He had a blood test and a culture on his dropping so will find out the results on Monday. Hopefully, he will be much improved. He is screaming now as he wants his bath (he is moulting) so I will answer His Master's Call.

That's great news, Jan!  I'm glad he's going so well & hopefully Monday's results will also be good. Interesting - he screams for a bath but doesn't scream at the vet! You'd better scurry along then; best not to keep him waiting.  |

That is good news, Jan! What a pleasure it must be to have your buddy/overlord back. Please tell Shah that Peppy is doing well. Last night, he actually tried to fly off my hand. It was pretty much a straight drop, but still, he was interested in locomoting himself. Once on the floor, he walked around a bit, which he hasn't done for a long time. Knocking on wood!

Fingers and toes are crossed that Peppy is making a full recovery. I know how wonderful it is to have their "old" personalities back. Shah is such a pleasure to be with these days. Each night when I put him to bed he practices his words for over half an hour - I love listening to him.
