Yoshi is 10 weeks old and I've now had him for 2 weeks. He has settled in and is a character. He loves to hang out with me and get head and wing scratches. He has learned his name and is doing well with harness training. He loves playing on his cage but won't play on the playstands. Converting him to pellets is going really slow. He'll eat the pellets if I soak them but won't touch the ones in his cage that are not soaked. He loves veggies as long as he can eat them while I'm eating. And if I'm listening to music and singing he starts chattering like he's singing it's really cute. Tonight I deep cleaned his cage and changed all his toys and perches around and it took me a little longer than I thought so it was a little after his bed time when I got done. As soon as he got in his cage he yelled at me till I turned the light off for bed time then he went to bed. He is such a sweetheart to me but he doesn't care for my husband too much.
Is there any type of tricks or things I should teach him now while a baby before he gets older to make life better for the both of us? I've been working on harness training, step up, recall training, holding him on his back without him freaking out, messing with his wings, and the "gentle beak" method.

You're doing great! Training on anything is good. One thing I would suggest is to towel train him. It's not a great way to handle a.parrot, but odds are he will need to be toweled at some point, by a vet, or by you if he injures himself, for example. If you can make it a game, it will be a lot easier on him.
