My parents had a miniature poodle mix who had seizures. They would hold him and stroke him and talk to him and he'd come out of them more quickly once they figured that out. He recovered from his pretty quickly, too. 10 or 15 minutes afterward, and he'd be right as rain. However, it could have also been a night fright, even if it wasn't night time when it happened. When Freddie was a baby, he had those quite often. He'd doze off and suddenly have a freak out and throw himself around and I did what my parents did with Fang (my brother named the dog, LOL), and would pet him and talk to him and he'd kind of blink and be dazed and then he was all right. In the thrashing around, he might have bonked his head and that would contribute to the dazed part.

Can't be sure, of course.

I got scared for you just thinking of driving with all those floods closing the roads.... geeezzzz. And to think I was going to complain because there was no sun yesterday and I want more snow to melt. Silly me.
Best to you and Peppy.
