Hello. I'm really interested in purchasing a Quaker. I've been searching non-stop for a reputable breeder and can't find anything concrete on anyone. I see reviews here and there but feel like they might be manipulated, so I was wondering if everyone in this forum would be able to help.
I've come across a lot of breeders such as:
Birdmans Baby Parrots - IL D And R Aviary - IL In a pickle parrots - OH
I used the site birdbreeders.com, I've been searching non-stop on the web and calling breeder by breeder but it would be nice to hear from some of the members in the forum. Thank you in advance for being able to help me out.

I don't personally know any quaker breeders or how reliable they are, mine was a rescue. I am in Ohio though and by the looks of it you must be around there too. I do know of Hartman Aviary in Hilliard Ohio. I have never been there but I'd like to go on one of their tours sometime to see all the birds when they open back up. I think they are part of OSU so I'd assume they are a good option. They have a website called theparrotuniversity.com and they breed many parrots including quakers but they may not have any quakers available at the time.

I am not in the US, but I know of the parrot university and they are extremely reputable. They are the only breeders in the world who are attempting to breed parrots with good domestic qualities for the benefit of both companion birds and their caregivers. They developed the aviator harness, flight line and perch to encourage and facilitate flight. Their parrots, by many accounts, are extremely well cared for and they do breed quakers, yes.
