Hi, my name is Poki and I don't know why my owner call me like that. I am still a baby, so please be patient to me I am a male blue Quaker as you can see from the picture below. I heard my species can talk, but I am still learning. My owner was so happy when I spoke my first word "up up" that he gave me lots of sunflower seeds. I was so scared I would get stomached from eating too much of them. Anyway, my hobbies are sleeping, cuddle and rubbing my head on my owner's hand. Oh and I also have a sister. She is 3 months older than me. She is not Quaker but a beautiful Sun Conure. Psst, don't tell her this, but sometimes she can be annoyingly loud.

Welcome to the forum Poki, you and your sister are cuties! Sounds like you are on your way to being talkative!

Hi Poki, sister sun conure and human slave 'Ksuyen'. May I say that you're exceptionally good-looking! And I see that you've trained your sister to preen you (way to go!). I'm sure you will soon discover that you can be WAY louder than your sister...

Haha thank you all! Poki is so happy. He has been eating too much seeds recently and is getting a bit too plump. How do you train parrot to eat more pellets?

What a beautiful pair of birds. Poki, as others have said, once you find your voice it may be your sister sun conure who runs into the corner pleading for some quiet time. Chuckie, my geriatric (25 or 26 years old) green QP, says hello. Well, more like Skreep.
