I am in Australia, so can't help you...I am sure that if you provide more information (e.g., the type of person you are, the experience you have with looking after quaker parrots, the colour you'd like) you would reassure people on this forum and might receive some positive replies. Where in Texas are you? If you're Dallas/ft.worth, you can get a green Quaker for 75 to 80 at trader's village. They are not tame, but can become that way with a bit of work. I have bought two from there both were tame within a week, but I worked with them a lot. I have also worked on taming birds for a long time, so experience comes into play too.
