He had another xray on Saturday and all is looking good except there is muscle weakness around the stomach. This probably wont change. His poo test results came back today. He is clear. So, finally, Shah has a clean bill of health. I actually took him outside on Saturday for his bath (we haven't done this for a couple of years) and he absolutely loved it. We talked, sang and snuggled while his feathers dried off. It was great bonding time.

Hooray!!  I'm ecstatic for both of you. Maybe you could treat yourselves to something nice (only 'safe' foods for Shah, though) in celebration! |

Great news, Jan! I love that after-bath time with Peppy, too. I will will be taking Peppy down to Houston again next week. His liver values will be checked, but I'm not expecting much progress there. I just hope they aren't worse. He seems to be holding his own. |
