Salutations all.
My name is Ron. I'm the artist formerly known as Uncle Zippy from the old forum days. I originally joined in 2005 with a 4 year old QP named Maya. We learned SO much from that old community. A lot has changed over the last 10 years, but the constant has been Maya. Other birds have visited, and some stayed for a long while, but Maya is still so much fun and a major part of my life.
I moved from the interior Of B.C., Canada to my old home of Vancouver Island on the coast over a year ago, and have completely changed my way of life. I quit the radio announcer business and am now working on a farm. Maya is still a professional pest. Very good at her job too. Earns mucho nutriuberries.
Hopefully I can find time to visit regularly and participate in your new community.
